Join us in creating a training center for midwives who have devoted themselves to the safe delivery of infants, the advocacy for mothers’ rights, and the collective learning and sharing of knowledge and experiences in order to build healthier families and communities.
In Guatemala, there is a growing need for a centrally-located midwife meeting and training center, a hub for the midwives to learn and a sanctuary to collaborate and support one another. Concern America was just awarded a $30,000 matching grant from Impact Giving, a collective of women who pool their resources and annually award grants to nonprofits in southern California. Can you help match the generosity of Impact Giving to fully fund the construction of the midwife center, a total of $70,000?
The goal is for construction to be completed by the end of 2025 and to raise the full $70,000 by September 1st.
