What is the Walk Out of Poverty?
A 5-mile walk at Mile Square Park in Fountain Valley, CA that supports Concern America's work training and accompanying people and their communities to build water systems, provide health care services, etc. in rural communities around the world. View some of the photos from last years walk, raising over 80,000!

1. Pre-register: $25 by March 17, 2017 (t-shirt guaranteed)
Late or day-of registration: $35. (Children 5 and under are free, but must still register!)

2. Set a Goal - As a team or an individual, choose an amount to fundraise! Every amount counts: $100 means clean water for someone for 25 years, $1,000 is full medical training to a village health care provider. We encourage every walker to raise at least $100.

3. Fundraise! - Outreach to family members, coworkers, schoolmates, and more to give through your online page or by checks and cash (which can be turned in the morning of the Walk or mailed to Concern America). The average walker raises $100.

4. Join us to Walk! - Saturday, April 8. Arrive at 6:45 at Holy Spirit Church, Fountain Valley to check-in, get a snack, and pick up your t-shirt. We begin the 5-mile Walk at 7:30!

Walk Where You Are!
Friends and family from around the world, we invite you to “Walk Where You Are” and do your own walk, hike or activity to gather support and raise funds in conjunction with the Walk happening in California. It can be on or around the Walk date (April 8), and as big or as small as you like. We have an online event fundraising page where you can create their own sponsorship page, set a goal, and reach out to your circles of friends and family to support you and Concern America.

Our goal is to have at least twenty Walk Where You Are participants, and we would love to have you take part (imagine if each team raised at least $500…that would be $10,000 towards Concern America’s work)! It is a great way for you to engage your friends, family, coworkers, etc. to support the amazing work that you have supported for years.
